Accessibility Statement

DetailChimps is committed to making our Platform usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and test to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard, and we comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Accessible Canada Act.
What we do
- Semantic HTML, keyboard navigability, and visible focus indicators across the app.
- Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA on all production UI.
- ARIA roles and labels on interactive components from our component library (Radix UI / shadcn).
- Form inputs paired with labels, error messages tied to fields, and minimum 44×44 tap targets on mobile.
- Responsive layouts down to 320px wide and respect for
prefers-reduced-motion.
Known gaps
- Some map-based views rely on Google Maps tiles; we provide list-based equivalents wherever feasible.
- The voice copilot UI is being audited for full screen-reader parity.
